Self Drafted Kiddie Pyjamas

Sewed some PJ bottoms for my son. Also drafted the pattern block myself. It was interesting and fun. Will definitely be drafting more patterns.

It was easy to make. Used an elastic waistband. The length was spot on and it has good crotch space. My son declared it ‘ comfortable’.

Used a book by Winifred Aldridge called Metric Pattern Cutting for Children swear.

Finished dresses!

I finally finished the Hannah dresses for my twin girls. I got the pattern on Etsy as a digital download. I wont be buying from Etsy again as this pattern had a few problems and I had to improvise, I dont think a novice would have handled it well. Anyway I enjoyed seeing my girls in these.

I bought I meter each of the material at Β£4/meter. You can see it before cutting here Β https://saturdaynightstitch.wordpress.com/2014/04/07/materials-bought/
