I made these cute stripey dresses after I was inspired by Janet over at KitchenTableSewing. An adorable little girl’s dress. I used a multicolor stripe poly cotton bought from Leeds Market. For my twins, I had the stripes in different directions just so they can have a different dress on.

Simplicity 3854 Baby’s Dress Sewing Pattern Review

The pattern turned out to be on the bigger side in terms of fit but this is no problem as kids grow very fast. The polycotton I used is not the nicest to touch – after a couple of washes it started to feel quite hard. You live and learn. It took a long time to sew these and I don’t think I will sew them again.
