Last weekend I had the chance to go to a new sewing event called the Sticthroom Sewcial organised by Anne @new_vintage_sewing and Lucy @sewessential. It was a 2-day event held at the sewing room of Loughborough University’s Textile department. And oh my days! What a wonderful, awe-inspiring event it was.

This was my very first ever “away” sewing event so I was a bit nervous when I first got there. The nerves did not last long though – chatting with the sewing tribe dealt with that. I was immersed in a creative bubble for 2 days. I was enchanted. I was swept off my feet.

I am so happy to have been a part of the inaugural StitchRoom Sewcial which I feel is a new innovative event idea that will impress any sewing enthusiast and more importantly, create meaningful moments for anyone who attends. Can you tell I loved it?

Here I am talking about my experience during the 2 days with pictures and little video clips.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace and love,

Hila

PS. Just mentioning that I am not being paid to do this. I bought my ticket and accommodations myself. There was no obligation to post or write. I just really loved it and wanted to share.
