Here is the updated post to include the Burda 2/2020 line drawings. I must admit that after the first look – I was not that excited but now that the line drawings are here – I cannot wait to buy the February Burdastyle when it comes out!

Burda 02/2020 First Look

Here in the Burda 2/2020 First Look Preview. I love that Burda shows these in advance so you can order the issue if you like the designs. I also just get excited to see the coming designs and styles.

So far, I have loved the Burda 1/2020 issue – I thought it was a great start to the year. This February issue looks like it has some decent basics so far. I am looking forward to receiving my issue so I can decide if its better than Burda 2/2019! Ah, the joys of being a Burda completist.

Burda 2/2020 – The Styles

I love the slant welt pockets on the camel sleeveless dress. That’s a lovely take on a wrap dress style. The multi-fabric top is exciting and vivrant and just the sort of thing I love wearing – though the style is a simple button-up shirt – I am inspired to recreate something similar.

I am digging the monochrome black and white look of this. That top with the longer back has piqued my interest.

Fresh looking pastels remind of spring. I like the stying here.

Burda is continuing with the vintage 50s reprints. Great if thats your fave vintage era (I am more of 70’s and maybe 60’s fan).

Cute play on stripes with the culottes.

Glad to see the kids patterns will be the older kids ones. They have been doing a lot of younger kids ones in 2019. Hopefully, there is a more varied age range for kids patterns in 2020.
