Updated 24/9/2020. Last month when I received my Burda 9/2020 issue, I said to myself that this is the one. The best Burda of the year. Then the first look of Burda 10/2020 (the PDF sewing patterns are already available on the German site) dropped and oh my days! I spoke too soon! I am sew excited to get my hands on this one – it put the fire under me to finish off my planned Burda 9/2020 sewing plans.

Burda October 2020 Sewing Plans

I am definitely looking towards autumnal style in my sewing plans. The first is the sweater Burda 10/2020 #104 which I have traced out in one size bigger than my usual 38. I want it oversize and cozy. Fabric wise I am using a new to me company called Mind the Maker. The chevron quilted jersey is in a burgundy colour. Burda 10/2020 #103 knit trousers are just what I need for loungewear. Loungewear is an area that is sadly lacking in my wardrobe. I have decided that this last quarter of the year I will take steps to address this gap. The fabric for the trousers is a Lady McElroy soft viscose jersey with medium-sized rose posies on a dusky pink background. I quite like that these fabric colours sort of go together.
