Burda 3/2019 #110 Review
Here is a pattern review of a top from Burda 3/2019 #110 wrap top. I sewed this top in a lightweight chiffon fabric. I like how the top turned out and you can see it live in action on this video from my Youtube channel.

Burda 3/2019 #110 Pattern Review
Pattern Description – Wrap blouse with wide hem and ties.
Pattern Sizing – EUR36 – 46. I sewed size 38.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? – Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? – Yes. It is the featured sewing lesson in the magazine.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? – All the flounces and frills caught my eyes plus the combination of the deep V neck. I felt like I could have a lot of fun with this style.
Fabric Used: Lady McElroy Paisley Chiffon Fabric. 100% Polyester. 56″ wide. The giant paisley print fabric came in 3 colours – royal blue, ivory and navy blue – I went with navy blue because o how the dark background made the orange accents pop.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I skipped sewing the fiddly wrist ties. I personally dont like dangly bits at my wrists as they get in the way of my daily life.
Would you sew it again? Yes.
Would you recommend it to others? – Yes.
Conclusion – I had this idea that a wrap top like Burda 2/19 #110 can be easily adapted to make a wrap dress by simply lengthening it. That’s what I plan on doing for a future make. In the meantime, I have been wearing my top in summer and enjoying it.
