Burda 9/2023 First Look Preview
Burda 9/2023 -The oversized shirt jacket looks like a useful garment for fall layering. The blocking on the tapered trousers is a great style for soft gamines Kibbe image ID. Not too keen on the first dress as that would require precise sewing tailoring but the look could easily be achieved by wearing a T shirt under a slip dress.Burda 9/2023 All the colour that is going to be great for fall. While these look good, Im not certain about the practicality of a British fall being able to work with the paneled skirt for instance. At least there are more cold weather practical designs below.Burda 9/2023 Line Drawings -Classic chic! Oh I do love this section for the designs! The oversized bow blouse could work so well in a fine babycord fabric. The sheath dress would make a great office dress with a fitted jacket over it – look at the shaping using princess seams and gathering along the seams – a technical masterpiece! Love the high neckline on the patterned dress – the only thing I’d change is the cuffs and make them elasticated.Burda 9/2023 Line Drawings -More classic chic on offer with a stunning high neck, asymmetric hem jacket that is perfection! Burda 9/2023 Line Drawings -I simply must make at least 2 of these – the dress and the shirt! These a re wardrobe staples that will stand the test of time. I love the shirt has fisheye darts at the back for more shaping. Excellent – I cant wait to get my issue!Burda 9/2023 – Biker chic for an edgy but classic wardrobe. The taper pants look great in a solid as well as the previous colour blocked one – adding this to make – it suit my soft gamine preferences. I like the dress but without the zip though that defeats the whole biker chic aesthetic 🙂Burda 9/2023 – its nice to have a classic leather jacket for men in this issue – just this makes it a collectors issue for me. The strapless dress is a bit of a no no for me as – too cold in UK to have bare shoulders in autumn but I would consider it for summer.Burda 9/2023 More menswear -thank you Burda! Its great to have options for the men in my life that I sew for. The cropped jacket looks interesting with the texture blocking they have done – I like the idea.
Has any caught your eye in this Burda 9/2023 preview?
Oh I love those trousers with the color blocking on the bottom! And the black dress with all the topstitching, not sure about the horizontal line across the bust but looks so cool on the model.
