Colette Moneta Sewing Pattern Review
Pattern Description: Knit dress sewing pattern featuring a gathered skirt, side seam pockets, lovely neckline with 3 sleeve variations.
Pattern Sizing: XS – 3XL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? – Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? – Yes. There is a sew-along post on the Colette Patterns site to help beginner seamstresses.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? – I love the gathered skirt which makes for a swishy hem.
Fabric Used: Lady McElroy viscose jersey. Composition 95% viscose and 5% elastane. 58″ wide.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Minor broad shoulder adjustment.
Would you sew it again? – Yes!
Would you recommend it to others?– Yes!
Conclusion – Nineth Moneta dress says it all! This is a classic sewing pattern.
