You don’t need to have a huge space to be able to create your wonderful hand-made garments. In the years that I was using this tiny sewing corner, I sewed over 120 garments ranging from dresses, leggings, a Peacoat, an upcycled onesie into a toy!
Why bother to have a sewing space if it is teeny-tiny?
A sewing space, no matter how small, will boost your sewing productivity and creativity. It makes a huge difference to your sewing workflow when everything has a place.
It doesn’t take a lot of time to set up for a sewing project once you have created your small sewing space. Just keep your small items in an organizer.
Adding character to your tiny sewing space
You don’t have to stop at efficiency and workflow – the little touches make all the difference. I like to use vintage sweet tins to store my threads and sewing kits. Plus a vintage sewing machine adds charm!
You could easily add colour by buying some caddies for storage. I really like these ones.
So whether you are new to sewing and just bought your first sewing machine or you are a seasoned pro who has downsized – you can still make an effective super small sewing space so you can still enjoy your sewing!
