I sewed up the Tessuti Patterns Apron sewing pattern using a neutral beige linen fabric to recreate a Japanese crossback style apron that I have admired for a while. One of the main reasons I sewed this up was due to some issues I’ve been having with the skin on the back of my neck reacting at anything pressed against it, including the fabric of aprons ties. It is a quick instant gratification sewing project that comes together fast. Taking under an hour to finish from start to finish, it is quite satisfying.

Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?

Yes.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

I’ve been having issues with the skin on the back of my neck which have meant the usual neck tie apron is off limits for me. I needed a crossback style and this fitted the bill.

A lovely lightweight linen in a neutral beige. Its a great colour that goes with most things.

None.

Would you sew it again?

Yes

Would you recommend it to others?

Conclusion

A useful addition to my wardrobe that protects my day to day outfits. It has washed and kept well since I sewed it up. I have since made another one which I will share very soon.
