I am blown away by the simple beauty of the Ogden Cami top. I am also kicking myself in the bum for taking so long to sew up one of these cute little instant gratification sewing project!
From cutting out to the final press, it took me 45 minutes. And that includes faux french seam finish on the side seams. Dressmaking has never been easier! Add to that the fact that I used the popular Liberty Wild Flowers print cotton lawn that I had been super precious about for years.

Now that I used this tana lawn – I am keen to dig into more of my Liberty tana lawns that I have been collecting over the past few years. I have amassed quite a collection – I pulled them out to catalog and make plans to use them – in the cold light of day its disturbing that I have so much gorgeous fabric sitting in my stash.

True Bias Ogden Cami Pattern Review
Pattern Description
Simple cami top. It has a soft V neck at both center front and center back necklines, and delicate spaghetti straps. The neckline and armholes are finished with a partial lining for a beautiful, high end finish.
Pattern Sizing
Size 0-18. I sewed size 10 based on my bust measurement.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the soft v neck, especially that the back view has a deeper V that shows off my back. It is easy to wear in summer and seems to go with just about anything.
Fabric Used
Liberty London Tana Lawn – Wildflowers. I have had this 1-meter piece of fabric for 6 years now. It was something I was very precious about and so cutting into it took a lot of grit on my part but I am ever so glad I did it! Tana lawn is one of the best fabrics to sew with.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made
None.
Would you sew it again?
Yes – I have infact sewn 4 more! I will get pictures and post them all soon.
Would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely! You need to try this pattern out! Its so fast and easy to sew up.
Conclusion
A great addition to my wardrobe that has got so much wear over the summer. It has joined my travel capsule wardrobe. I packed 3 of the Ogdens with me when we went to France over summer! And i have plans for more of them. How many Ogden can a girl need?
