Here is a knitting project that I am very proud of because it was my first attempt at Nordic knitting. I used navy blue and white baby yarn that I cant recall the exact name of. It was a machine washable yarn though – its very important to me that things are easy care.

So I made these for my sister in Australia. Twas great fun doing stranded knitting for the first time.
I learnt a LOT from using this book – Head to Toe Winter Knits – 100 Quick and Easy Accessories to Knit. I highly recommend this book when you are starting out with knitting.
